Love Film, Games and TV? Want to work in a real film crew alongside professionals making an animation film this term? Want to make contacts and find out how to get started with a
career in the industry? Applications are now open for the BFI FILM ACADEMY taking place at @SignalFilms in Barrow this Winter. 18 participants will get to work with industry professionals as part of a crew to learn vital skills and make a short animated film on Zoom and at socially-distanced events. The course will start in late October 2020 and run for 12-weeks followed by a 2-day professionally mentored shoot over the Christmas period.
No prior skills or experience are needed and the academy fits around school and college hours. You’ll get a qualification at the end and there will be the chance to apply for a free place at the prestigious residential course at the National Film and Television School.
